Welcome to the new Town of View Royal Online Services.  We are pleased to offer our citizens and businesses the convenience of managing your accounts in a secure online environment.  Once registered, you can link your property tax and sewer utility accounts.

New users sign up by clicking Get Connected to link your accounts. 

Existing users click Login.  Once logged in you will be able to link additional accounts.

You can now access the following services all in one place:

  • Property tax and sewer utility balances including recent payments
  • Access your property's legal description, assessment history and tax levies
  • Claim your Home Owner Grant online
  • Sign up for e-billing to receive notices and bills via email
  • Download and print your bills

Be sure to sign up before May 1, 2020 to get your 2020 Property Tax Notice by email as soon as it is issued.

The Internet browser you use will affect your experience using this online service.  It is recommended that you use Google Chrome or Firefox.

To sign up for property tax or sewer utility e-billing:  

  1. Click on the Get Connected button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and click Show Me How.
  2. Enter your account number and access code/PIN from your prior year property tax notice or prior year sewer utility invoice.
  3. Select your preferred billing options and enter your email address for e-billing preferences.
  4. If you are not a registered user, follow the steps to create a username and password.

If you are registering your account after the annual property tax or sewer utility bills have been mailed for the year, please contact the Finance Department at 250-708-2270 or email finance@viewroyal.ca for assistance.

To claim your home owner grant:

  1. Click on the Home Owner Grant link under Quick Links or choose the button below.
  2. Enter the roll number (8 digits including decimal do not include the 401/402) and the access code/pin from the top right hand corner of your Property Tax Notice.
  3. Follow the instructions on the online Home Owner Grant form.  A confirmation will appear, click cancel to edit or okay to continue.  Once your application has been submitted print the confirmation for your records.  You can also view the status of your grant application through Online Services - Property Tax account, Bill Summary tab.
